Your First Filming Session with Luxful: What to Expect
One of the most common questions we receive from clients is what to expect during a filming session with Luxful. Our approach is centered around organic, authentic content creation that feels natural and on-brand, rather than high-gloss commercial-style production. Whether this is your first time creating content or you are already comfortable on camera, our goal is always to make the experience smooth, comfortable, and aligned with your vision.
Starting with Your Vision
If you already have a content idea in mind, we will ask you to share it with us in detail. You can also send us an example of a video you love or something you would like to replicate for your own brand. If you are not sure what you want to film but know you need fresh content, no problem at all. Our team will brainstorm with you and provide several content ideas for you to choose from based on what best aligns with your brand, audience, and goals.
Filming Time Estimates
Once your concept is confirmed, we provide an estimate for how much filming time will be needed to bring the idea to life. Filming time can fluctuate due to a variety of real-life factors such as arrival times, weather, public events near the location, learning lines, and other details that naturally come with creating organic content. Throughout the process, our team stays on top of communication so you always know what to expect and we can make the most of our time together.
What We Bring to the Shoot
On the day of your shoot, your content director will arrive with everything needed to capture high-quality, organic content. This includes iPhone camera equipment, ring lights, gimbals, microphones, and other content creation tools. If you prefer to use any of your own equipment as well, you are always welcome to bring it along.
How to Prepare for Your Shoot
We love helping our clients feel confident on camera, and preparation plays a big role in that. We recommend wearing something that you feel comfortable moving around in and standing in for extended periods of time. You may want to bring a few touch-up items such as a lint roller, hairbrush or comb, and any makeup you may want to refresh throughout the shoot.
During the Filming Session
Our team will guide you through each scene and provide direction along the way. We often run through scenes more than once to ensure we capture the best possible shots. Our goal is to help you feel supported, confident, and relaxed throughout the entire process.
After the Shoot
Once your filming session is complete, you will receive access to your raw content within 48 to 72 hours. From there, you are free to use your footage however you would like. If you prefer not to edit the content yourself, Luxful also offers professional editing services. Many clients choose to pair filming and editing together for a seamless, full-service experience.
